星期六上午5点30分左右，在圣约翰Main Street北面发生枪击案，警方闻讯赶到现场，逮捕一名男性嫌疑人，并从其身上搜出了枪支。该男子被控拥有枪支，调查正在进行中。与此同时，圣约翰警队正在寻找星期五午夜枪击案的嫌疑犯。当天的枪击案发生在Uptown Union Street的Iceberg Pub附近。
星期五晚，一名妇女走在东圣约翰的Rothesay Avenue时遭到抢劫。3名抢匪将妇女强行拉入车中，抢走其钱包和iPod，然后驾车逃离。案件正在调查中。

3起枪击案，两起抢劫案和两起纵火案。这便是上一周圣约翰多少有点糟糕的安全纪录。
这也许就是我们生活的圣约翰~~~

那是因为这里没有交警专门站在路中央指挥交通。路上巡逻的警车还是挺多的。以市警为主。偶尔可见RCMP。
