UNBF可疑气体泄漏

位于UNBF校区的Marshall d'Avray Hall今天上午发生学生在教室里晕倒事件，校方紧急疏散了大楼内的学生。有6名学生被紧急送往医院治疗，另有10多名学生被送往Aitken University Centre隔离观察。Marshall d'Avray Hall现已经被封锁，福莱市负责危险品的部门人员赶到现场，大批消防人员戴着氧气面罩在大楼内进进出出。有人怀疑是Marshall d'Avray Hall内的天然气泄漏，但学校发言人表示现在就认定是天然气泄漏还过早。

Local fire officials evacuated Marshall d’Avray Hall mid-morning today. Emergency crews are on site to evaluate the situation and to provide support to students. Classes are canceled for this afternoon and evening in Marshall d’Avray Hall. The university will remain open and more details will be made available as soon as possible.

报告出来了，什么也没找到。。。
今天下午和晚上在这栋BUILDING的课全CANNCEL了，明天照常上课。


Marshall d’Avray Hall has been re-opened, after having been evacuated at 10:15 a.m. today. Classes in this building will resume as scheduled tomorrow.

Emergency Services evacuated the building as a precautionary measure, after six kinesiology students from one class felt faint. The six students were brought to hospital for tests and observation, and have now been discharged. More than 50 other students from the class were quarantined at the Aitken Centre until about 1:30 p.m. today, when emergency officials were assured they were okay.

The Hazardous Materials team inspected the building thoroughly for air and water quality, and hazardous materials, and found nothing unusual. This is the first time an incident of this nature has happened at UNB.

UNB officials will continue to monitor the ventilation within the building and will conduct a debrief on this situation to determine what additional measures should be taken.

UNB treats the safety and security of its students, faculty and staff as a top priority, and thanks Emergency Services for their quick and professional help in this matter. UNB also thanks the students, faculty, staff and others who waited patiently while we dealt with the situation.

旁边的Multimedia Center有门窗隔着，里面的中国同胞们是不会有问题的。
