Jan 2007 is our sports month, here are the activities:
1. Swimming (twice this week)
Jan 3(Wed/tomorrow) at 11:40 am, people who are interested in coming, we are meeting in the lobby of Head Hall at 11:40 am tomorrow. Then, we will walk to the Lady Beaverbrook gym together. It's FREE as long as you bring your UNB Student ID. Also, bring towel, body wash, shampoo, whatever you need after the swim.
Swimming again on Jan 7 (Sun/day before school starts) at 1:00 pm at the LB Gym. Bring your student ID. It's FREE.
2. Curling
People who are interested in curling this Friday afternoon, Jan 5, please e-mail me
ASAP. Our sports director needs to know the number of people coming in order to reserve the place. It will be at the Winter Club behind the Superstore. The price is about $6 per person. Curling is very fun. It's like playing bowling on ice. Please e-mail the secretary if you are interested.
3. Sports Day
Our sports director will book the gym for one afternoon so that we can play soccer, badminton, etc. It will be on Sat, Jan 20th after French class. This is an tentative date since we are still not sure if it's open or not. It's FREE so everyone should attend. More details will be sent to you later.
