(1) Potluck: Nov 17,2006
C9 of Head Hall from 6:30pm.The food available was pasta, beef with eggs, chocolate muffins, sheppard's pie, eggs, chicken curry, mixture of different vegetables(mushrooms, napa, etc), vegetable salads/beens, dessert, food form Pakistan, Chinese food, fruits from grocery stores... there was a DVD player and a TV, as well as some old Kareoke DVDs.
(2) Wall climbing: Nov 24,2006
from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at the Lady Beaverbrook Gym. For people who are coming, we will meet at the service centre at around 5:50pm (10 to 6:00). The service centre is just on the lower level of the building. You enter the building and then you turn left and then you go downstairs. At the service centre, we wil fill out liability forms in case some of us injure ourselves while climbing. It's just for the sake of the university. Also, we need to do warm up before climbing, else you will sprain your muscles or more seriously your bones. The cost is $5 if you don't have shoes. $5 including renting for the shoes and climbing. If you do have shoes, bring them, and you will only need to bring $3. It's gonna be indoors, so wear T-shirts and boxers/pants whatever you are comfortable with.
